Canopy: When Words Fail

When words fail, there is the language of the heart, contemplation under a canopy of feelings.

Where we weep with the willow when winds of change bring sorrow.
Where there is shelter and safety for the oppressed.
Where deep rootedness anchors us to truths.
And butterflies tell of transformation.
Where yellow fields of volunteer dandelions say to expect the unexpected.
In place of our exhaustion and spiritual fatigue, God will give us rest. All He asks is that we come to Him...that we spend a while thinking about Him, meditating on Him, talking to Him, listening in silence, occupying ourselves with Him - totally and thoroughly lost in the shelter of His presence.

And the Daisy, the day’s eyes, sees all.
Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.

The photos are great. Chuck Swindoll is good. The Scriptures are better. And your conversations with your flora are the best.

    1. Thank you, Bill. Some native tribes referred to trees as teachers and plants as helpers of people. I do think they are gifts for us to find joy and refuge.
