Appointed Time . . . Already in Motion

Sometimes I feel as tightly wound as this rose bud.
I feel stuck between "what is" and the "what may be" of this world,
longing for peace.
      ------G. Hill
With so much promise in the burgeoning bud, I look for its bloom. Morning after morning, day after day, there is little change, no hint of scarlet, no new breakthroughs. Hope seems to be waiting for its appointed time. I hold on tight, feeling cramped and constricted.
        ------G. Hill
We like things to manifest right away, and they may not. Many times, we’re just planting a seed and we don’t know exactly when it will come to fruition.
     ------Sharon Salzberg
Then, smiling in their easy way, the unstoppable SunPatiens, from their confidant perch, seemed to say, "Look at me and value what is; trust in what will be. What is promised is already in motion."
       (SunPatiens are very wise.)
                     ------G. Hill

Fruition in Time. . .

The fruition of beauty is no chance of hit or miss… it is inevitable as rain, as life itself.

       ----- Walt Whitman
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
-----Habakkuk 2:3
Hope Blooms
Remember, what we see in front of us might not be the end of the story.
  ------ Sharon Salzberg
Peace, I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
     -----John 14:27
