Promises made to my winged heart:
I promise to: value and honor my lessons learned, be mindful about what to let go and what to let in, look for the joy in the little everyday things, grow my groundswell of gratitude, re-charge my heart-light with compassion for others, and to soar each day, raised up and renewed.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

I loved your poem and the Eagles Wings song sung by Josh Groben.
Thank you for your ministry.

I love this poem and thank you for zooming with us last night. Eagles Wings is one of my favorite songs and it never fails to leave me without tears (happy ones) streaming down my face. I do have a questions this morning though, I do a lot of our online content and daily posts for our church Facebook page and was wondering if you’d mind me linking occasionally to your poetry here? I link to a daily inspirational by Franciscan media and then a bunch of Catholic news media sites but its nice to have some uplifting thoughtful content as well. π

Thank you Jen. I appreciate your heartfelt comments and I am humbled that your book study group chose my book to read.
I too get choked up with happy tears whenever I hear Eagles Wings.
I would be very proud if you shared my blog. Would you like a morning message text? I text a number of folks who prefer it. We can arrange a way to share your number privately.
Or perhaps a subscription (free, of course). You would get a notice each time I post, which is easier to forward.
Whatever works for you. Blessings to you!
