I was in a "Martha" frame of mind. I felt overwhelmed with all my to-dos: housecleaning, errands, baking, and holiday "shoulds".
And I was failing the biggest "should" of all: being of cheerful mind.
----G. Hill

My thoughts were running roughshod. Negativity, an unwanted squatter, was taking up residence in my head. Anne Lamott once described her mind as a bad neighborhood, unsafe to go alone. My mind was feeling like a dark alley. I was singing a pitiful tune. My mind energy was low.
------G. Hill

A chorus of birds reminded me I needed a better song. -----G. Hill

The dark alley of my mind needed more light. -----G. Hill

"Open the window of your mind. Allow the fresh air, new lights, And new truths to enter." — Amit Ray

― Nikola Tesla
I went in search of fresh air of truths . . ..
We have control over energy, frequency, and vibration.
Through meditation, mindfulness,
and thought/affirmation exercises,
we can alter our personal energy.
-----Hendrith Vanlon Smith Jr.

Mindful Affirmations God has filled my life with good things. Psalm 103:1-5 The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want. Psalm 23:1 God bestows grace around me. 2 Corinthians 9:8

Rivers of good will run through us. We only need to remove the negative clutter To reach a reservoir of life force. My mind took a drink of fresh life force, and it quenched my parched soul. G. Hill

I have a place where I can nest,
No need to be in Sunday's best.
No matter age or what may be,
I'm His child . . . eternally.
-----G. Hill

You too? The holidays can be overwhelming. I love the traditions and all the gatherings, but I also like quiet solitude of ‘silent nights’.
Nice thoughts, especially at. this hectic time of year.
Thank you, Bill. Things do get hectic. It did for me. Then I made a few changes.
Your title- Less Mind Clutter prods us to eliminate mindless clutter. Well writ.
Bill
