Well, our grandmother's house was only across the street.  Still, we'd sing this song and imagine ourselves on a Thanksgiving journey across the miles.

    1. We used to sing this in elementary school. Each grade had a piano in the room and all my teachers could play. We sang this and other classic songs from the Golden Song Book. Great memories. Thank you so much for your comments. They are truly appreciated.
