I will be spending the rest of the week with my whirligigs, ages 8, 5 and 2. They will be bobbing and bouncing, twirling and whirling, and I will be spinning with them in their orbit of giggles. I hope to return to my orbit of words soon. -----G. Hill

Enjoy: John Denver, "The Garden Song"
**Whirligigs, also known as pinwheels, buzzers, comic weathervanes, gee-haws and spinners, can have multiple spinning parts. Whirling and turning on a pivot, they move with the wind.

The Garden Song, by Pete Seeger Inch by inch, row by row Gonna make this garden grow Gonna mulch it deep and low Gonna make it fertile ground Inch by inch, row by row Please bless these seeds I sow Please keep them safe below 'Til the rain comes tumbling down Pullin' weeds and pickin' stones We are made of dreams and bones Need a place to call my own 'Cause the time is close at hand Grain for grain, sun and rain Find my way in nature's chain Till my body and my brain Tell the music of the land. Inch by inch, row by row Gonna make this garden grow Gonna mulch it deep and low Gonna make it fertile ground. Plant your rows straight and long Season with a prayer and song Mother Earth will make you strong If you give her loving care. Inch by inch, row by row Gonna make this garden grow Gonna mulch it deep and low Gonna make it fertile ground . . . til the rains come tumbling down.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. ------3 John 1:4

I am smiling as I visualize those three precious little ones – scripture is perfect
