A View from Her Apron-Strings

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies, grand-mommies and great-grand-mommies.

Forgive my short absences due to traveling and sharing important family events. I have some thoughts for you this Mother’s Day morning, plus links to my Mother’s Day messages from previous years.

You are never too old or too far away from a good dose of Mother’s advice. —–G. Hill
Your Mother Knows Best: You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
—–Winnie the Pooh
Although you cannot hear her voice or see her smile, your mother walks beside you as she did before. She listens to your stories and wipes away your tears; she wraps her arms around you and understands your fears. You feel her love and her spirit in your heart. Your souls are never apart.
-----taken from Understanding Compassion (see link below)
On this Mother's Day, scoop up servings of hugs from the apron strings that knew you so well.
       -----G. Hill

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.

Happy Mothers Day my sweet and dear
    friend.
I waited for your words today.
Not a day goes by without thoughts of my mother.
Memories fill my heart with only thought “we” could remember.
    Thank you, Pavia
