Late September’s Gentle Hand

Elbert Hubbard wrote, “The eagle molts a feather because he is growing a better one.” This post is dedicated to Bob and all those growing new feathers.

Late September lays a gentle hand upon the earth, easing life into predestined cycles.
      ---G. Hill
September shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.
      -----Samuel Butler
Before it lets go, the autumn leaf twists and turns until September's gentle hand escorts it to its soft landing.
        -----G. Hill
Are we any less?
Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
          -----Matthew 11: 29-30
Gentleness is strength under control. It is the ability to stay calm, however strong the winds, and no matter what happens.

    1. Bill, What a nice thing to say. I truly appreciate your thoughts. If I am breathing, then I am writing. And I do like the creative process, even with images. I use AI quite a bit. Be well. Gloria
