Ever Flowing: My Liquid Heart

Here in your touch
Is where all things flow:
 courage and faith,
safety and grace,
And spaces to grow.
-------G. Hill
Touch is liquid.
It seeps into the contours of life,
The cracks, creases and crevasses,
 Filling it with something----
-----Something old and powerful.
-----G. Hill
Love doesn’t die with death.
Love is a liquid heart.
Pouring out,
Filling empty spaces,
Into another life.
         ---Kate O'Neill

The space in my heart pinched me like an endless ache, until I crawled inside to float in the memory of your love.
         -----G. Hill
Even a simple drop of dew fills a space I didn't know I had.
------G. Hill
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. —John 4:14

Loss is such a frequent, lonely visitor. We can help each other find some comfort, fill the empty spaces. Thank you for your thoughts.

Thanks, Gloria. Beautiful. The people who were so important to us and have passed continue to flow from us to our children and grandchildren and on and on.

Thank you, for your comment. On and on and on it goes, flowing in all the light we can gather in our short but meaningful lives.
