When I was a middle school teacher, I was asked to state my mission. Without hesitation, I replied: To be a mirror to my students so they might see the light that shines within them. 

Situations change and missions change. At this stage of my life, now in my 7th decade, I want those who might be facing despair or loneliness to know that even now, in the midst of broken heartedness and faded dreams a table has been set before them.
