Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.
~ Wayne Dyer

Ever consider all that is held in our minds in the time and space we call NOW?
Bundled into every NOW, exists the entirety of our earthly existence: people we know, lessons learned, memories, plans, grief, hunger, pains, troubles, regrets, imagination, gratitude, beliefs, schedules, goals, wishes, fears, and desires, to name a few.
No wonder our minds get noisy and overloaded. But there is a deeper concept, already seeded inside us that we can tune into, at any time, even right now.
The word NOW, appears 1355 times in the bible (KJV), alerting us to God's active and immediate presence in our lives, whether or not we are aware. But the soul yearns to transcend our crowded minds to connect with something greater than ourselves, the source of all being, our creator.

"A walk in nature, walks the soul back home." - Mary Davis
A simple walk tunes me into a higher realm. Noise and worldly woes subside as I yield to the hand that beckons to me.

The same hand that powers the moon, the planets and the stars to follow their path, also prepares our own. What lies in our orbit? Can we go the distance?
In the mighty plentitude of NOW, we already have what we need.

If I am lost, I will be found.
If I am weak, there is strength.
If I am grieving, there is comfort.
If I have strayed, I will be forgiven.
If I am searching, I listen for answers.
If I am worried and fearful, there is TrusT.
When there is loss, I am reminded of everlasting life.

I have lived a nomadic life. In each new state, new house, new neighborhood, I would carve out a walk, my special route amid nature's sights and sounds. Like the dancing flowers and swaying trees, I became planted here, a growing seed the wind blew in, stretching, reaching high and fed by a network of roots.
And each fading flower or emerging bud in their own cycle of life seems to transmit,
"Look at me and value what is; trust in what will be.
What is promised is already in motion."

Promises and purpose pulsate in each NOW-Moment. We feel its gentle pull to do, to go, to be, to listen as a healer or a scaffold, a shelter or a teacher, a bright light.
We have been planted in this grand design for a purpose.

IF TODAY. . .
I am the root giving strength, it is enough.
I am the supportive leaf giving shade, it is enough.
I am the bud, still learning how to open, it is enough.
I am the stem sending nourishment to the hungry, it is enough.
And if today, I am the bloom, then let me shine in the light while I can.

Sometimes we can feel as tightly wound as these rose buds, stuck between "what is" and "what may be". But in every situation, in every NOW, we can tune in to abundance. Comfort. Peace. forgiveness. Acceptance. Guidance. Home. Love. All in our orbit, on our long walk home.

Where can I flee from your presence?
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
Even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
—-Psalm 139:7–10
