Walk On . . . But Not Alone

I can do it all by myself!
------as spoken by three year old Marco, but not a theme for life.
     ------eventually I learned.
Confessions of a Fiercely Independent Woman
      ------G. Hill

Made strong
So I went along
With ego and worth
Putting them first.

Pride rides high
Puffs out to imply
We can do it alone.
'til stripped to the bone.

Long adrift from God's song,
It all went so wrong.
And down on my knees
Help me, Please . . . Please.

And this was my breakthrough
The voice rang so true:

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU.
See the source image
Continuing the theme not walking alone:
Today . . . A beginning is about getting up again after falling.
Prodigal is about being welcomed back in the arms of grace.
